Nice campground on Lake Superior. Great for launching boats at the adjacent NPS launch. Bring your camera.
Nice basic campground in a great location. Campsites are small but well maintained. Nice docks, public launch, picnic pavilion, small playground, and excellent beach. Connected to Apostle Island National Lakeshore facilities.
Great small campground to go to that is right on Lake Superior.
Great location, sites okay but little too close and open to other campers, clean facility but showers are for pay which is no big deal. Camp hosts very nice. However when we stayed there a group played their music may too loud and late into the night - of course they were drinking. People that do that are rude and inconsiderate. When confronted they acted offended and childish for the next day so we left. I don't understand how some people can't see when they are being rude. Anyway, I would stay there again as the place is very pretty but hopefully next time we will stay by someone who is considerate.
Nice little campground. Clean and peaceful. Nice boat launch, protected mooring area. Separate kayak launch area. About 10-15 mi to Bayfield.
